Light soiling and a few small faint spots and stains to boards, light rubbing to extremities, light wear to raised bands, spine ends and corners, small faint dampstains to head of text block, front hinge starting, a few small wormholes to rear pastedowns, early manuscript index to endleaves. Moderate toning to interior, occasional light foxing. A very good copy of a rare title. $1,500. * This work represents a remarkable artifact of late seventeenth-century jurisprudence, reflecting the intricate intersections of academic culture, canon law, and early modern geopolitics. Robert Konig, a prominent Benedictine professor of canon law at the University of Salzburg, served as the praeses for this disputation.
