Taschenbuch. Condizione: Neu. Neuware -Academic Paper from the year 2022 in the subject Theology - Miscellaneous, , language: English, abstract: This paper presents a symbiotic relationship between humanity and the ecosystem. The solution to this problem comes from the spiritual state of man. The methodology used in the paper is a transformative approach to the ecological challenges faced in the 21st century. The approach will use a theoretical lens to formulate interpretations from the ontological perspective that call for action agendas for reform and change. The first part of the paper deals with what God has done in creation through what theologians call common grace. The second part deals with man¿s duty and responsibility toward creation. The third gives some implications of the destruction of the creation to the ecosystem, animals, and humans. This will be seen through the carbon cycle and water cycle. The findings of this paper are that humanity needs to rethink the growth in population without the growth and maintenance of the other areas of the ecosystem. Therefore, we have to learn from God and imitate him in His creation process.

Taschenbuch. Condizione: Neu. Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - Academic Paper from the year 2019 in the subject Theology - Miscellaneous, grade: 92.56, , course: Christian Philosophy of Education, language: English, abstract: The Creator and designer of education had made it to work as a whole. The different philosophies he gave man was to help control the different multifaceted sectors of education in general, and more specifically the transformation of an individual in the society. Although learning is often seen as the main focal point, the education process consists of three equally important pillars that form the triangle of effective education that fits within the intersection of the spheres of the community of inquiry framework. The basic pillars expand to formal, informal and Non Formal. This study is a short explanation of how these three pillars form a basic framework for effective theological training. This is a qualitative study, using a philosophical and analytical research design and illuminate evaluation as research method. This is a proposed theory for effective higher education in Theology and any higher institutions. The triangle of education is formed by formal, informal and non formal. These are the models God is using to transform every area of the society and humans as well.

Taschenbuch. Condizione: Neu. Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - Academic Paper from the year 2022 in the subject Theology - Miscellaneous, , course: Contemporary Mission In African, language: English, abstract: Missionary Care provides an excellent follow-up to Helping Missionaries Grow, which gave a broader sweep of mental health issues as they relate to missionary families. Missionaries remain part of the body of their sending church. Regardless of whether they are physically present for worship every week or are working on the other side of the globe, they are members ¿back home¿ unless something breaks the relationship. Their church, therefore, is responsible to provide care for them just like they do for other members of the community¿but missionaries need it even. .One of the key leading scholars in the field of Missionary Care is Kelly O¿ Donnell. He is the editor of the book Missionary Care: Counting the Cost for World Evangelization. With close to thirty contributors to this book, the work is divided into five areas of discussion, each consisting of five articles: (I) 'Missionary Care Overview,' a good basic review and defense of the needs and history of psychological and emotional care provision to missionaries in Africa; (2) 'Counseling and Clinical Care,' focusing on changes in the psychological makeup of today's missionary pool and the assessment and counseling tools being used to address those changes; (3) 'Team Development,' speaking both to special needs arising in team ministries and the concept of developing teams of holistic-health specialists to minister to field staff; (4) 'Missions Agencies'; (5) 'Future Directions,' two very practical models, specific suggestions, and updates on current advances in the field of missionary care-giving.

Taschenbuch. Condizione: Neu. Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - Academic Paper from the year 2024 in the subject Sociology - Children and Youth, , language: English, abstract: Adolescence is a pivotal stage for identity and goal exploration, necessitating a focus on holistic development and spiritual formation. This study examines the intersection of the 'Big Five' personality traits-Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism-with the modified Five Cs of Adolescents Spiritual development-Calling, Character, Competence, Courage, and Community.Adapting the 5Cs by Geldhof et al., for Positive Youth Development and modifying it to fit the spiritual formation of adolescents, this study Utilizes document analysis, and observation of focus groups of adolescents in Bamenda across psychology, education, sociology, and theology, the research aims to determine the influence of these 5Cs and the mediating effects of personality traits on adolescent growth. Research has shown that the development of adolescents' character, competence, and community involvement is influenced by their temperament and character traits. These traits, particularly self-directedness, play a protective role in their well-being and psychosocial adjustment. Furthermore, Pedersen opines that the context in which adolescents engage, such as peer, school, and employment, can shape their competence and influence their self-esteem and delinquency. Jalal et al., believe Personality development programs, including those focused on motivation, leadership, and caring, have been found to positively impact students' character. However, the mediating effects of personality traits on the holistic development of adolescents are also influenced by psychosocial stress, with acute stress partially mediating the longitudinal stability of conscientiousness.

Taschenbuch. Condizione: Neu. Druck auf Anfrage Neuware - Printed after ordering - Akademische Arbeit aus dem Jahr 2024 im Fachbereich Pädagogik - Bewertungsmethoden, Noten, , Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: The objective of this study is to investigate the possibility of transformation that arises from using a Vygotskian framework to understand the role of More Knowledgeable Others (MKOs) in promoting learning at ECWA Theological Seminary, Jos (JETS). This study examines the impact of social interaction and scaffolding on the educational process at JETS, drawing on Vygotsky's sociocultural theory. It highlights the significance of More Knowledgeable Others (MKOs), such as instructors and peers, in molding students' cognitive development and academic progress. The results emphasize the interactive and cooperative nature of the learning environment at JETS, which is consistent with Vygotsky's theoretical framework. By engaging in interactive encounters with others who possess different levels of expertise, students are effectively guided towards their zone of proximal development (ZPD). This process facilitates the gradual internalization of knowledge and abilities. This study highlights the need for deliberate curriculum design and instructional approaches that include More Knowledgeable Others (MKOs) in the educational experience. At JETS, the use of mentorship programs, peer teaching, and interactive classroom activities, which are based on Vygotskian principles, has been found to significantly improve educational outcomes. The Vygotskian perspective highlights the significant influence of More Knowledgeable Others (MKOs) in facilitating learning at ECWA Theological Seminary, Jos. By acknowledging and utilizing the capabilities of those with more expertise and knowledge, JETS can persistently foster a dynamic and intellectually engaging educational setting that fosters the cognitive and spiritual development of its students.

The primary aim is to examine how intentional partnerships between parents and Teachers, rooted in biblical theology and African communal values, can foster resilient, morally grounded spiritual identities among youth in a pluralistic, post-colonial African context. Utilizing qualitative content analysis, the study systematically reviews theological, educational, and cultural literature to identify recurring patterns and models of collaborative Christ spiritual development. Findings highlight the cultural and theological significance of shared responsibility in adolescent development, particularly within African societies where child-rearing is inherently communal. 32 pp. Englisch.

This item is printed on demand - it takes 3-4 days longer - Neuware -Academic Paper from the year 2024 in the subject Sociology - Children and Youth, , language: English, abstract: Adolescence is a pivotal stage for identity and goal exploration, necessitating a focus on holistic development and spiritual formation. This study examines the intersection of the 'Big Five' personality traits¿Openness, Conscientiousness, Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Neuroticism¿with the modified Five Cs of Adolescents Spiritual development¿Calling, Character, Competence, Courage, and Community.Adapting the 5Cs by Geldhof et al., for Positive Youth Development and modifying it to fit the spiritual formation of adolescents, this study Utilizes document analysis, and observation of focus groups of adolescents in Bamenda across psychology, education, sociology, and theology, the research aims to determine the influence of these 5Cs and the mediating effects of personality traits on adolescent growth.Research has shown that the development of adolescents' character, competence, and community involvement is influenced by their temperament and character traits. 40 pp. Englisch.
