Soft cover. Condizione: Good. 1st Edition. Ex Library Copy. A good copy in pictorial wraps. Probable 1st paperback printing (1958) with no additional printings listed. Book is an original 1958 edition that has been modified with a tapped in page and a glued down note to the reader from the pastor (Father Abeloe) of Mission San Jose to indicate that the book it is now a Bicentennial Edition from 1977. Book covers have some general wear, fading to the spine and a library sticker on the bottom spine edge. The front endpaper has a library pocket and a library sticker on the inside front cover. The top page block has a library stamp. Overall, a solid good reading copy with tight binding and no markings to the text. Illustrated with photos and a new frontispiece that shows how St. Joseph's Parrish Church at Mission San Jose looked circa 1977 when the Bicentennial Edition was published. 8vo; 285 pages.
