Vintage studio still photograph from the 1935 film. Miriam Hopkins plays Mary Rutledge, a widow who begins working at the roulette wheel of a pub in San Francisco. She is tirelessly pursued by the club's owner, and she in turn pursues one of the clientele, a wealthy gold miner. A love triangle ensues, with rather violent consequences. Shot on location in California. 8 x 10 inches. Good, with creasing overall, pin holes to the corners,soiling to the verso, and a small closed tear to the right margin.

Practical information on prospecting for the beginner, financing the venture, equipment, supplies needed and with itemized cost if purchased in Ontario of the prospecting essentials, listing of provisions and personal equipment necessary for two men for one month. Lists the most favorable areas to mine, field methods of prospecting, staking and recording claims, forest fire protection, etc. On reverse side of the 12 panels is a large map of Northern Ontario which shows principal prospecting areas. 1" closed tear to one panel and creasing to top of one panel. A very informative brochure.
