Paperback. Condizione: Fair. ack Earnest (1770-1841) was born as a slave in Palisades, New York. He served three masters during his lifetime. He was born onto the Gesner farm and later was owned by Jacob Concklin. He was eventually freed and purchased a small parcel of land to farm and became one of the more prominent members of the black community. Cover and pages intact, with pages slightly yellowed. Cover shows fading, shelf wear and a few marks and discoloration. Book was donated to Friends of the Omaha Public Library.
