Rusty Meador was raised on a working cow ranch in Sierra County and went to school in a one room school house at Winston, New Mexico. There were six kids and six grades. He says he is too old to punch ol' wild cows anymore so he just sits around and writes cowboy poetry. The poems are interspersed with comments and stories by Rusty.
