L'ensemble de ce travail de recherche est réalisé par phases afin d'atteindre les objectifs mentionnés ci-dessus. Tout d'abord, les phaseurs de tension sont utilisés pour développer le modèle TLOD. Ensuite, les phaseurs de courant sont utilisés pour résoudre le problème de la détection des coupures de lignes de transmission (TLOD). La détection des coupures de lignes parallèles est également validée pour la première fois à l'aide d'algorithmes basés sur les phaseurs de courant. L'efficacité et la viabilité des algorithmes TLOD proposés ont été vérifiées sur différents systèmes de test de référence de l'IEEE dans l'environnement MATLAB.
