Tra tutte le opposizioni incomponibili che danno un'impronta tragica alla vita, la più resistente ai nostri sforzi di pacificazione è sicuramente quella di un Io costretto a riconoscersi straniero nel proprio corpo, parte del ciclo biologico e, al medesimo tempo, di una natura speciale, irriducibile alla materia di cui sono fatti gli altri viventi.
