Aggiungi al carrelloSheet Music. Condizione: Good. Shapiro, Bernstein & Co., Inc., Published 1930. Sheet music, 5 pp.; 31 cm; illustrated cover (deco floral design on a maroon ground) with an inset black-and-white photograph of Paul Small; with ukulele arrangement (chord symbols and ukulele chord diagrams, uke in C). In Good condition. A 1 inch sli…t at the head of the spine fold, with a small chip at the lower cover and a few edge nicks, tears, and creases. Previous owner's name in ink on front cover. Mild shelf wear with some toning and soiling. Interior lightly aged but otherwise unmarked."Near the Rainbow's End" (Tiffany, 1930) was Bob Steele's talking-picture debut and the first of a series of singing-cowboy Westerns produced by Trem Carr; directed by J. P. McGowan (credited on this sheet, "suggested by J. P. McGowan"), it was among the early sound films built to show off RCA Photophone. Apart from the picture, the title song was a genuine 1930 hit, recorded that year by Anson Weeks, Johnny Marvin, the Clicquot Club Eskimos, and others. Lyric by Billy Moll and the entertainer Harry Richman, music by Murray Mencher; cover carries an inset photograph of the singer Paul Small. Inside front cover prints a sample of "Me and the Girl Next Door" (Moll and Mencher); back cover advertises four songs from the season's musical comedy successes ("Exactly Like You," "On the Sunny Side of the Street," "I'm Feelin' Blue," and "Cinderella Brown," all Dorothy Fields and Jimmy McHugh). This is the Paul Small cover variant; other 1930 issues carry inset photographs of other performers, including Alice Redlund and Joe Candullo.

Aggiungi al carrelloSoft Cover. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Sheet Music is a generous 9" X 12" unsoiled. The copyright is dated 1933. 1st edition, The four sheets of music and words are all present.Light rub , wear, GOOD + CONDITION, AS-IS .Featured by Eddie Cantor .Alice appears to be a healthy young lady. maturing nicely and finely developed features…. She is also wearing spiked heels, a rather unusual style of footwear for a preteen in 1933. Sufficiently attractive, ALICE has further emphasized her charms with the neat application of rouge and a bit of lipstick! Probably this drawing comports with the late Lewis Carroll's vision of the young ALICE in his mind's eye.The mushroom at her feet is about as phallic as it gets on sheet music and certainly the Mad Hatter and March Hare seem to be engaged in heated reparte. From the expression on the face of the Hatter, who seems to have been drinking something stronger than tea, one can only wonder abou.
