Three nomenclatorial corrections, as a sequel to Gittenberger & Menkhorst (1991, 1993), are executed. Because of junior homonymy, Buliminus (B.) corpulentus is replaced by B. (B.) corpulentior nom. nov. Pene coluplicatus and Turanena yusufelensis are now considered junior synonyms of P. brunneus and T. andronakii, respectively. 2 pp., gr. 8.

Because of its peculiar shell sculpture, with a periostracal spine on each of its many ribs, Schileykula aculeata spec, nov., described in the present paper, can easily be recognized. The species is classified with Schileykula after characters of the genitalia. 3 pp., 2 figs, gr. 8.

The genus Turanena Lindhol 1922 has been reported from Turkey by Schnell (1979), Gittenberger (1986) and Rähle (1988), each adding a species new to science. Bank & Butot (1990) described one more new species from the Greek island of Samos. In the present paper four additional new Turanena species are described from Turkey, viz. cochlicopoides, conelongata, yusufelensis and zilchi. The species originally mentioned only from Samos (hemmeni) is reported from Turkey as well. Our actual knowledge concerning the species under discussion is summarized in an identification key and a distribution map.
