Defective copy, lacking three leaves from the Table of Contents (two of which are supplied in manuscript copies). Text clean and unmarked, with some browning of paper. Overall in good condition. Includes engraved title page as frontis. Issued as two volumes, this work contains both Vols. I-II bound as one. Menochius (d. 1656) was a Jesuit priest who wrote this well-known Catholic Bible commentary which was first published in 1638. Text in Latin.
