The samples were extracted through the Soxhlet apparatus with different solvents to remove the soluble extractive and wax subs…tances. The raw cellulose was treated in autoclave with alkaline substances for bond breaking. Most polar substances were removed through EDTA and hydrogen peroxide. Moreover, the samples were purified through acetic acid and nitric acid solution. The cellulose was neutralized by double distilled water until a neutral pH was obtained. The purified cellulose was characterized through different analytical techniques such as X-ray Diffraction (XRD) shows high crystallinity of 73%. FTIR shows the removal of different functional groups from the surface. TGA indicates that the cellulose obtained from different sources of wood showed that the loss of water takes place at 100 C, soluble extracted at 250 C, and lignin and hemicellulose at 350 C. SEM indicates that the surface morphology and shape are highly visible pores. The isolated cellulose has high crystallinity, thermal stability, and good mechanical properties. 100 pp. Englisch.

Die Proben wurden im Soxhlet-Apparat mit verschiedenen Lösungsmitteln extrahiert, um die löslichen Extraktions- und Wachssubstanzen…zu entfernen. Die Rohzellulose wurde im Autoklaven mit alkalischen Substanzen behandelt, um die Bindungen aufzubrechen. Die meisten polaren Substanzen wurden durch EDTA und Wasserstoffperoxid entfernt. Außerdem wurden die Proben mit Essigsäure und Salpetersäure gereinigt. Die Cellulose wurde mit doppelt destilliertem Wasser neutralisiert, bis ein neutraler pH-Wert erreicht war. Die gereinigte Cellulose wurde mit verschiedenen Analysetechniken charakterisiert, z. B. Röntgendiffraktion (XRD) zeigt eine hohe Kristallinität von 73 %. FTIR zeigt die Entfernung verschiedener funktioneller Gruppen von der Oberfläche. Die TGA zeigt, dass die aus verschiedenen Holzquellen gewonnene Cellulose bei 100 C Wasser verliert, bei 250 C löslich wird und bei 350 C Lignin und Hemicellulose verliert. Die REM-Untersuchung zeigt, dass die Oberflächenmorphologie und die Form der Poren deutlich sichtbar sind. Die isolierte Cellulose weist eine hohe Kristallinität, thermische Stabilität und gute mechanische Eigenschaften auf. 100 pp. Deutsch.
