Oversize format: 13" x 14" with heavy slipcase duplicating covers. Binding is solid and square, covers have sharp corners, exterior shows no blemishes, text/interior is clean and free of marking of any kind. Very lavish production on heavy, high quality paper reproducing the original publication in 1954 from Universitas publishers in Jerusalem. Text with a few b&w illustrations to page 76 then 23 pages of maps and arial perspectives of the historical development of the town and features within it with detailed descriptions and/or indexes of places, buildings, points of interest, about half of which are in color, several of which are large multi-fold out presentations, all as new. Back cover inside pocket contains two large fold-out maps. Contents include: he historical background, The geographical background, The pictorial presentation.
