Aggiungi al carrelloHardcover. Condizione: Very Good. 1st Edition. First Edition, 2003. 168 pages. Book measures 5.75 x 8.5 inches. Blue Cloth. No dust jacket as issued. The book is an attempt to describe the work of Gabriel Orozco as a project of research on the nature of meaning production and world construction. The text examines how Orozco cons…iders the concept of game as the mechanism underlying all processes of sign exchange and production, describing how the artist has appropriated and reconfigured a few specific traditional game fields in order to use them as evidence of culture plays. The writing gives close attention to Gabriel Orozco's interest in the sciences (particularly on concepts like symmetry and the nature of the experiment) and in philosophy. The author wrote this book in close collaboration with Gabriel Orozco in the summer of 2003. Includes examples of Orozco's artworks and related diagrams throughout the text. Boards show very slight signs of bowing, as does spine. Binding is solid. A Very Good copy. A uncommon title.
