Fumetto
Soft cover. Condizione: Fine. Scott Harrison, Roach, Ed McGuinness, Tom O' Connor, Rob Stull, Chuck Regan, Craig Miller, Frank Forte (illustratore). Tales of the Dead is a horror anthology by Joseph M. Monks. Each issue contains 3 stories that the next issue picks up on and continues, establishing a continuity between issues and allowing for more character development than your standard horror anthology. The main villain of these books are the shambling undead, featured by different artists in a grotesque manner that is typical with the zombie genre. The first issue contains a handful of pin-up art pieces and the second issue contains a bonus, one-off story. Collectible Entertainment comment: Tales of the Dead (1994 - 1995) is an ill-fated title that was originally to have run for eight issues instead of just the two that were published and is therefore an incomplete series containing multiple incomplete story lines. Nonetheless, Joseph M. Monks still serves up some top-notch story telling accompanied by gritty zombie artwork from cover to interior. Recommended for any Horror and/or Zombie enthusiast. It's good stuff. Comics Lot contains: Tales of the Dead (1994 - 1995) Issues #1-2. CreativeForce Design & Productions - Comics are bagged & boarded and will be carefully / securely packaged then shipped via USPS Priority Mail to insure that it arrives to you perfectly and quickly. Collectible Entertainment note: Comics are in Fine + condition. Very Nice Set! Please See Scans!! A must have for any serious Zombie and/or Horror Anthology collector / enthusiast. A fun & entertaining read. Recommended.

In 1721, Bailey published the first first monolingual English dictionaries to focus on defining words in common usage, rather than just difficult words. Bailey's Dictionarium Britannicum (1730 and 1736) was the primary resource mined by Samuel Johnson for his Dictionary of the English Language (1755). The "Scott-Bailey" or "Bailey-Scott" dictionary, contains relatively slight revisions by Scott, but mostly plagiarizes Johnson's own dictionary. "The attempt of the Bailey proprietors to enter a folio to rival Johnson's great Dictionary remained alive through 1772, three years after Scott's death." See Starnes & Noyes, chapt.
