Soft cover. Condizione: Good. "ADAM, International Review" was established to present world literature of all sorts that focussed on the arts; in fact ADAM is an acronym for Art, Drama, Architecture, Music. This is volume 41, Nos. 419 - 121. The quarterly periodical was edited by Miron Grindea, and issued from London. This issue…, which is subtitled "Attention à la peinture . Poetry and the Visual Arts", is an anthology of a great many authors from all over the world; the selections were chosen for their subject matter, which is Art, with a capital A, including many specific artists. Authors from many different centuries and cultures are here, and the artists and works of art are equally numerous. The selection of authors is eclectic, but nearly all of them are world-wide in the acknowledgement of their greatness, and, or their contribution to world literature. There are too many to list, but we have given a view of the contents page on which all of them are listed. Likewise, the artists are too many to list - we've presented four page spreads grouped together which will give some idea of the scope of the collection. The issue ends with critical views and reviews by J. V. Stevenson and M. K. Bequette. "Adam International Review " is no longer being published.
