Tight hardcover in good condition. Yellow front board with illustration of a boy, a duck, a pig, a donkey, Captain Barnacle, and a…monkey with their arms behind each other dancing. Lots of beautiful color illustrations by Tibor Gergely throughout text. Boards and backstrip have some edgewear with bumped corners - foil backstrip is worn off at top & bottom of backstrip. Leaves are in good condition with no markings - very light age discoloration at outer edge. Previous owner wrote name in ink on "This Giant Little Golden Book belongs to" section.
