Anschließend wird untersucht, welchen Bezug die Arbeiter:innenklasse selbst zu Konsum hat. In einem weiteren Schritt geht die Autorin vermehrt auf die Autosoziobiographien ein und widmet sich zuerst den Aussagen Eribons und Ernaux¿, die in ihren Werken zum Konsum enthalten sind.
