Five raised bands (six compartments) with contrasting gilt-embossed title on spine label, to second compartment. All edges gilt and inner dentelles and gilt roll turn-ins…. Rubbing to extremities, minor scuffs and superficial gouges to leather. Lovely illustrations by London-based painter Daniel Maclise. Some light spotting to a number of pages (less than 1/5), but does not at all obscure. Blue silk marker, sewn in. Daniel Maclise (illustratore).
