While, in pod damage (%) highly significant positive correlation with maximum temperature (r= 0.747\*\*), significant positive correlation with bright sunshine (r= 0.687\*) and significant negative correlation with wind speed (r= -0.695\*).Field screening of different ten varieties/genotypes of green gram against spotted pod borer revealed that the lowest no. of larvae and pod damage found in Meha (0.92 larva/plant & 9.28 per cent damage) emerged as a resistant. While, K 851 was highly susceptible which registered the 3.42 larvae/plant and 33.26 per cent pod damage.Concluded that the spotted pod borer, M. testulalis attained a peak mostly in the third week of October and it was effectively managed by application of broflanilide 300 g/l SC or spinetoram 11.7 SC during Kharif in green gram. 208 pp. Englisch.

Bei den Schotenschäden (%) bestand eine hoch signifikante positive Korrelation mit der Höchsttemperatur (r= 0,747\*\*), eine signifikante positive Korrelation mit der Sonneneinstrahlung (r= 0,687\*) und eine signifikante negative Korrelation mit der Windgeschwindigkeit (r= -0,695\*).Das Feldscreening von zehn verschiedenen Sorten/Genotypen von grüner Grasnarbe gegen den gefleckten Hülsenbohrer ergab, dass Meha (0,92 Larven/Pflanze und 9,28 Prozent Schaden) die geringste Anzahl von Larven und Hülsenschäden aufwies und sich als resistent erwies. K 851 hingegen war sehr anfällig und verzeichnete 3,42 Larven/Pflanze und 33,26 Prozent Schäden an der Schote.Die Schlussfolgerung war, dass der gefleckte Schotenbohrer M. testulalis seinen Höhepunkt meist in der dritten Oktoberwoche erreicht und durch die Anwendung von Broflanilid 300 g/l SC oder Spinetoram 11,7 SC während der Kharif-Periode in grünem Gras wirksam bekämpft werden konnte. 152 pp. Deutsch.
