ND (1932). Near fin…e. J.P Moreton & Co. of Birmingham issued a series of six articles on perch, pike, roach, grayling, spring salmon and trout as separate leaflets. "The first six of these articles were issued in pamphlet form, and the demand for them has been so great that all had to be reprinted, and the second edition is almost exhausted. We have therefore decided to reissue the whole, with the addition of chapters 7 and 8 (which will not be printed separately) in handy pocket book form, cloth bound and well illustrated. To be published shortly by A. & C. Black." Chapters 7 and 8, which are not included here, were to be on summer salmon,and chub, dace, bream, etc. This binder contains a title-page advertising the new book, the six pamphlets, plus five advertising pamphlets, two of which (artificial baits and flies) have a colour plate as their front cover. Each pamphlet contains practical advice on angling together with recipes and advertisements for J.P. Moreton & Co. Individually, these pamphlets are exceedingly rare. Together like this they form an almost unique collection. .
