The book is undated but the bibliographies state it was printed in 1935. No publisher or gallery is stated, but Lipsi had an exhibition at one of the Hotel Drouot galleries in 1935, and their…address, 8 Rue de la Liberte, has been pencilled in at the rear (in what looks very like Lipsi's handwriting) so this is almost certainly the catalogue for that exhibition. 4to in wrappers with printed over-wrapper (as issued), 6pp text in French plus 27 single-sided b/w plates, all on thick and stiff art paper. The original plain tissue cover has been folded and loosely inserted . [CONDITION: An extremely well preserved FINE very clean and tight unmarked copy (covers and page-block edges slightly tanned, mild crease to spine). An excellent copy ] . Correspondance de 9 lettres autographes signées dont 2 cartes autographes signées adressées à la galeriste suisse Gisèle Réal. Format moyen in-8. Chevilly-sur-Marne ou Goldbach (Suisse), 1955-1958. La plupart des… enveloppes sont conservées. Il est joint une lettre de son épouse l'artiste Hildegard Weber-Lipsi (1901-2000). 1955 : Il donne rendez-vous à la galeriste dans son petit atelier de Goldbach - Küsnacht près de Zurich, puis, du fait d'un contretemps, la décommande. 1956 : Il lui envoie pour son exposition "une feuille avec les indications des mesures concernant les socles" et fait des recommandations. Il donne des nouvelles de Paris : "L'activité artistique à Paris va de crescendo en crescendo. Il y a trop à voir mais bien entendu pas tout est à voir. Vous vous l'imaginez bien". Concernant son travail : "J'ai pas mal de blocs en chantier". 1956 : la lettre évoque l'envoi à Golbach d'une sculpture de Vitullo (le sculpteur Sesostris Vitullo) qui doit être remise par son intermédiaire à Gisèle Réal. 1956 : "Au cours de ces prochains jours, je vous ferai parvenir une toile Geer v. V. [le peintre Geer van Veld] qui devra figurer à la prochaine exposition des trois peintres. C'est une oeuvre qu'il avait laissée ici l'année dernière". 1956 : il a vendu une sculpture en marbre rose à Gisèle Réal. Il souhaiterait qu'elle puisse la prêter à une exposition en Suisse : ".prêter cette pièce pour une exposition dont je suis invité à participer avec un peintre parisien Leppien [Jean Leppien]. Il s'agit de la galerie Palette à Zurich". 1956 : il évoque à nouveau Geer van Veld et Madame Vitullo et son travail : "je suis en train de préparer mon envoi au salon de la Jeune Sculpture".
