This examination can be done with the naked eye and a concave or plane mirror with a hole in it, and various lenses, and the author carefully explains the correct placement of the instruments and how to interpret what you see. The author notes that one can examine either eye with either eye, or with the same eye, and explores the advantages and disadvantages of each method. The book provides a detailed analysis of the appearance of the fundus of the eye, noting color variations and the appearance of blood vessels. Further, it investigates physiological events that can be witnessed through autoscopy, such as the effect of light intensity and accommodation on the retinal blood vessels and the appearance of afterimages. With this book, the author provides a guide to a new field of medical exploration. This technique can be a tool for both basic research into the mechanisms of vision and for the clinical diagnosis of ophthalmological disease. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book. print-on-demand item.

Vili) - " Ueber Glaucom in aphakischen Augen" (ZEHENDER'S Klin. Monatbl. für Augenheilk., V) - "Ein Fall von Netzhautgliom mit zahlreichen Metastasen" (v. GRAEFE'S Archiv, XV) - "Die empfindende Netzhautschicht" (Verband!, der kais. Leop.- Karol. Akad. der Wissensch., Bd. XXX, 1864) - "Krankheiten der Orbita" (v. GRAEFE'S Archiv VII) - "Die Autoskopie des Auges und eine neue Methode derselben" (1863) - " Ueber künstliche Beleuchtung" (Prager Viertel- jährschr., C)." Horstmann, Hirsch-H. III (1931).

The author argues that these works are not the product of a single poet, but rather the result of a long process of oral transmission and adaptation by multiple singers. The author draws on a wealth of evidence from linguistics, archaeology, and literary analysis to support this theory, challenging the traditional view of Homer as a solitary genius. This re-examination of Homer's work places it within the broader context of oral epic traditions, shedding light on the creative process behind these foundational works of Western literature. The author examines the origins of these myths, their relationship to the natural world, and their enduring significance in human culture. The author argues that the myths of ancient Greece and India are not simply fanciful tales but rather symbolic expressions of deep truths about the human condition. These myths explore themes such as the nature of reality, the purpose of life, and the power of the human spirit. Through a meticulous examination of ancient texts and comparative analysis of myths from different cultures, this book provides a new perspective on the origins and meanings of these enduring stories. The author demonstrates that these myths offer valuable insights into the human experience and can help us to understand ourselves and our place in the world. This book provides an in-depth overview of how ethnology, the study of the mental development of the human race, has grown from its roots in 19th-century science. The author offers a detailed account of how ethnological data is analyzed, providing scientific criteria that allow the researcher to derive conclusions from the diverse cultural practices and beliefs of human societies. They also examine the ways that cultural phenomena can be traced back to their earlier, simpler origins, using the example of the Animist belief in spirits as a product of psychological development. The author concludes that ethnology is uniquely equipped to provide insight into the evolution of religions, social customs, and moral principles, offering a synthesis of philosophical inquiry and scientific investigation. The author begins with an examination of the history of case definitions from Apollonius Dyscolus and the Stoics through the present day. They then delve into the logic and definitions of the Nominative and Accusative cases, arguing that the Accusative is neither merely an object case nor fully adverbial as previously believed. The author concludes by positing that the Accusative is best understood as a psycholinguistic phenomenon that arises from our need to express our thoughts in language, and that its diverse uses reflect the complexity of our mental processes. This book examines the work of German philologist Karl Lachmann, whose research on the Homeric epics and medieval German poetry provided new insights into literary analysis and influenced later approaches to literature. Lachmann believed that similarities between works across time periods suggested shared origins, not imitation. Exploring the development of Lachmannâs theories and exploring their implications, this book discusses the significance of his work in understanding the development of European literature and the use of comparative study in literary analysis. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format.
