The book contains a good number of selected drawing's representing different decorative motifs, and a map showing the rug knotting centres in Asia Minor. It also contains 22 plates showing the 36 rugs which the author has chosen for his study." Shelf wear and some foxing to covers, with some loss to the top edge and lower spine area. The description of the plates give the age, size, colors, and the inventory number.
