Breast surgery causes significant postoperative pain, which impairs quality of life, and opioids, while effective, are associated with adverse effects. Opioid-free anesthesia (OFA), combined with the PECS II block, represents a promising alternative. The objective of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of the PECS II block in an OFA protocol combining lidocaine and ketamine, compared to balanced anesthesia, on perioperative analgesia in breast cancer surgery.Materials and Methods: A prospective, comparative, randomized, single-blind study conducted over six months (May-October 2024) at the Monastir Maternity and Neonatology Center, involving patients undergoing surgery for breast cancer. Patients were divided into two groups: OFA (ketamine, lidocaine with PECS II block) and OBA (remifentanil).This study demonstrated that OFA is both an appropriate and safe anesthetic strategy. It ensures intraoperative hemodynamic stability and provides analgesia comparable to that of opioids.…

This study presents a literature review synthesizing the currently available data on the use of generative artificial intelligence in educational simulation in the health sciences. Methodology: A narrative literature review structured according to the PRISMA guidelines, conducted using three databases (PubMed/MEDLINE, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar) between June and July 2026.
