Corners a little bumped, rubbed and generally worn. edges are foxed, but not internally. text itself is clean and tidy no inscriptions or marginalia. prior owner details to reverse of front board dated 1910. spine webbing showing at gutter, but all pages present and otherwise tightly bound in.

Most illustrations by W.J. Morgan, many illustrations not attributed. First story is "Pig-Betty" by Mrs. Molesworth. Spine and corners bumped, covers grubby and spine slightly browned. Front free-endpaper has been removed, title page has been re-inserted with old tape (which is browned and loosing its sticky properties). Title-page and rear free-endpaper are browned. A couple of page tears have been repaired with tape. Packaged with care and promptly dispatched!
