Boards and leather gently rubbed. Moderately sunned spines. All joints sound. Enhanced by a delightful, poetic and beautifully inked contemporary inscription: "Adeline Francesca Wright. August 1879. In memory of happy rambles with her father, through the ferny lanes and limestone dales of Derbyshire, up and down the pine woods on the Esterelles, after anemones, narcissus & tulips under the olives of the Riviera, on the sunny alps of Como & Lugano, and after crocus and gentians along the snow drifts of the Splugen; and in the bright hope that through the love of the Father who made all these we may rove, with those we love, the happy fields above, and ever praise his grace who giveth all."
