Cyber-Angriffe werden meist in komplexen IOT-Systemen entdeckt, denen es an Sicherheitsmaßnahmen mangelt. Um industrielle Sicherheit zu implementieren, ist ein konzeptioneller Rahmen für das Referenzarchitekturmodell Industrie 4.0 erforderlich. RAMI 4.0 ist eines der besten Industriemodelle, das vom ZVEI Deutsche Elektroindustrie auf der Grundlage der DIN SPEC 91345 vorgeschlagen wurde. Da eine Beeinträchtigung der Sicherheitsprüfungen nicht nur für das virtuelle System schädlich ist, sondern sich auch direkt auf das physische System auswirkt, müssen die Anforderungen an die Sicherheitskomponenten mit Hilfe von Industriestandards und -richtlinien im RAMI 4.0-Modell abgebildet und integriert werden.
