Support Vector Machines (SVM) classification is one of the most widely used classifications having advantage of accuracy and sparse representation that SVMs provide for decision boundaries. It is important to achieve energy efficient data mining in WSN while preserving privacy of data. In this thesis we introduce SVM classification for WSN consisting energy efficiency advantage by distributed incremental learning for the training and construction of global SVM classification model without disclosing the data to others. We show security analysis and energy estimation for preserving privacy and energy efficiency in WSN using SVM. 60 pp. Englisch.

Le questioni relative alla sicurezza, alla privacy, alla riservatezza e all'integrità dei dati diventano fondamentali quando i sensori vengono distribuiti in un ambiente ostile. La classificazione con macchine a vettori di supporto (SVM) è una delle classificazioni più utilizzate, con il vantaggio dell'accuratezza e della rappresentazione rada che le SVM forniscono per i confini decisionali. È importante realizzare un data mining efficiente dal punto di vista energetico nelle WSN, preservando al contempo la privacy dei dati. In questa tesi introduciamo la classificazione SVM per le WSN con il vantaggio dell'efficienza energetica grazie all'apprendimento incrementale distribuito per l'addestramento e la costruzione di un modello di classificazione SVM globale senza rivelare i dati ad altri.
