From 1972 To 1985 Liepmann Was Director Of The Guggenheim Aeronautical Laboratory And Executive Officer For Aeronautics From 1976 To 1985. He Retired In 1985, But Remained He Emeritus Von Kármán Professor At Caltech. He Completed His Undergraduate Education At The University Of Alberta With A B.Sc. Degree In Engineering Physics, In 1945, Received The M.Sc. Degree From Caltech In 1947 And The Ph.D. In 1952.
