Moreover the paper investigates how the municipalities work with their neighbour municipalities, utility companies, citizens and other stakeholders for handling rainwater and wastewater. Municipalities face some challenges due to the presence of different barriers (legislative, financial and technical) which hinder to develop institutional capacity. Therefore, the paper finds out both enabling and constraining factors for building institutional capacity regarding climate change adaptation. 104 pp. Englisch.

The focus of the study is on the identification of spatial concentration and change of employments in the selected thanas of Dhaka district. As well as the study analyzes the distribution and disparity of the facilities affecting the quality of life among the thanas. From the study, it is found that these aspects are not equitably distributed over the thanas. The study also reveals that certain thanas are distinguishable as prosperous in terms of a particular variable while some thanas are less prosperous. The study should be especially useful to professionals who are involved in Economics and Employment analysis related fields.
