Dietrich Nasse (1860-1898), "in Berlin, geb. 1860 in Bonn als Sohn des Staatsrechtslehrers Erwin N., studierte seit 1878 daselbst, sowie in Tübingen und Berlin, promovierte in Bonn 1882 (»Anatomie der…Lumbriciden«), wurde 1883 approbiert, arbeitete dann in Grenf bei Zahn und war 1884 bis 86 Assistent am path. Institut in Göttingen. Nach kurzer Bethätigung als Volontärarzt wurde er 1887 an der chir. Univ.-Klinik in Berlin bei v. Bergmann Assistent, habilitierte sich 1893 für Chirurgie, wurde 1896 Extraordinarius und Staatsexaminator der Chir., verunglückte jedoch auf einer Bergtour bei Pontresina in der Schweiz und starb bereits 1. Sept. 1898. Im griech.-türk. Kriege dirigierte N. im Auftrage der deutschen Vereine vom roten Kreuz einen Sanitätszug in Konstantinopel, zus. mit Küttner und beschäftigte sich damals eingehend mit Untersuchungen über die Verwertbarkeit der Röntgendurchleuchtung im Felde. Seine anderweitigen Arbeiten betreffen die Lehre von den parasitären Mikroorganismen (»Ein Fall von partieller Nekrose der Magenschleimhaut mit auffallendem Bacillenbefunde«), die Lokaltuberkul., die Lymphcysten, Lymphangiome, Lymphcavernome, Geschwülste der Speicheldrüsen und verwandte Tumoren des Kopfes, Knochensarkome, die Herkunft des Flimmerepithels in den sacrococcygealen Teratomen, Amöben in der Leber, die Lehre von den Krankheiten der unteren Extremitäten in »D. Chir.«u.a.m. Im Manuskript hinterliess N. ein Lehrbuch über die Verletzungen und chirurg. Krankheiten des Fusses." Pagel, Biogr. Lex. (1900), Sp.1189.
