The magazine featuring lots of adventure stories and outdoorsy projects, and participatory activities. Page 26 features an invitation to join the Pioneers : one can see all the purported activities listed that the club promoted. Of special note in this issue is an article on Gliders and Gliding; also of interest : "Trainees for Defense" shows that Americans were preparing for war even before Pearl Harbor.
