Hardcover. Condizione: Very Good. Condizione sovraccoperta: Good. 1st Edition. Please find another book about art in Yugoslavia, to wit: "Yugoslav Naive Art" by Nebojsa Tomasevic. According to the flap of the dust jacket: "This book contains 84 spontaneous conversations wsith Yugoslav naive artists. They are all allowed to speak for and about themselves in their own way. With 86 pages of colour plates, this unique volume is itself an illuminating artistic experience, providing a fascinating insight into the work, lives and philosophy of these self-taught artists. This book is extra thick, no doubt because the color samples of the works of the artists being interviewed are all tipped-in. Condition: This book is in very good condition. The dust jacket has some edge wear including small tears at the top and bottom of the front cover and wear at the corners and spine tips. The glossy finish also has some scuffing, both front & back. The hard covers are generally clean and bright and unbumped. Inside, there is an inked gift inscription on the first blank page. The interior text pages are creamy white and unblemished and the colors of the plates are vivid. I did notice one page (pp. 301) that had some holes in the paper of the page to the left of the tipped-in plate but it is not clear why and what happened. Both hinges are intact and the binding is tight and sound. This book is not ex-library or a remainder. Many (illustratore). …
