With tan cloth over boards, black lettering & design to spine, publisher's name in fancy, not plain, script, plain endpapers, & a full-color front paper pastedown, in 313 pages. Though generally clean & bright, condition is downgraded to only Fair because former owner colored most of the illustrations with crayon; crayon scribbling in front matter & to rear endpapers as well. But the front pastedown is colorful & bright, with some wrinkling & small chips/holes. Binding is straight & strong, front hinge cracked, rear hinge starting. both hinges secure.
