Neuware -Die Windenergie ist eine erneuerbare Energiequelle, die aufgrund ihres Beitrags zur künftigen Energieversorgung und zur Abschwächung des Klimawandels stark im Kommen ist. Die Nutzung der Windenergie in Mosambik stellt eine der Alternat…iven zur Deckung des künftigen Energiebedarfs des Landes dar, da die Stromerzeugung aufgrund der durch den Klimawandel bedingten hohen Evapotranspirationsrate des Sambesi-Flusses derzeit zurückgeht (INGC, 2009, S. 18). Eine Untersuchung der Windressourcen unter Berücksichtigung des Klimawandels ist jedoch notwendig, da Studien über die Auswirkungen des Klimawandels mögliche Veränderungen der atmosphärischen Zirkulationsmuster und der Windenergieerzeugung in verschiedenen Teilen der Welt zeigen (HARRISON et al., 2008 SAILOR et al., 2008; BRESLOW und SAILOR, 2002).
