Hardcover. Condizione: Good. Good conditoin. Brown, cloth, hardcover book with gold cherub on front that has "Guardian of the Christian Family Circle" written around him. Cover was repaired buy previous owner with black tape. There are a few marks and notation within, none that seem to impede the readability of the book though. Some black and white and colored illistration throuhgout. No publication date on title or back of the title page, but there is mention made of paying for this book by Semptember of 1844 on page 409, so It can be presumed that it was published around that year. ; 5 1/2" x 9" ; 432 pages.

Condizione sovraccoperta: NONE. 432 pages with lots of foxing/spotting, some mild creasing, some creased corners, some stains, 2 detached but included pages (one torn almost in 2), and stains along gutter of first few pages; frontispiece tissue has open and closed tears and creases; writing inside front cover and front flyleaf; gilt outer edges are quite scuffed; cover has shelf, edge, and corner wear with a gilt cherub and "Guardian of the Christian Family Circle" on front; chips from ends of spine; top half of spine cloth is detached but still has lovely gilt lettering and motif.
