Erste Ausgabe und mit der editio princeps des Nicolaus Damascenus. Der Diplomat und Humanist Niels Krag (1546-1602)… war der erste offizielle Hofhistoriograph in Dänemerk. Neben seiner grossen Geschichte der Republik von Sparta gibt er hier auch zweisprachig in griechisch-lateinischem Paralledruck mit jeweils eigenem Titelblatt zwei seltenere Texte heraus. Einmal "De politiis" von Herakleides Pontikos und schliesslich "Ex universali historia seu De moribus gentium libris excerpta Iohannis Stobaei collectanea" von Nikolaos von Damaskus. " - Papierbedingt etwas gebräunt und teils stockig, die Titelblätter jeweils mit älterem Stempel, am hinteren Deckel ein Fleck, sonst Einband gut, solide.
