First, Limited Edition. Limited to 120 copies. Quarto (34cm). Printed paper portfolio enclosing title page and eleven bifolium fascicules containing text and eight original signed prints. Signed by Nin at close of introduction; by Honickman at her first contribution; by designer/publisher Arthur Williams at colophon. Fine and complete, lacking the publisher's plexiglass box. A highly attractive artist's book, notable especially for the quality of the artworks chosen to illustrate the text. Kahn (lithograph); Jean Francksen (color wood and lino engraving); Howard Weinstone (lithograph); and Robert Kulicke (hand-colored etching).
