Hardcover. Condizione: New. Seeing life itself through the powerful lens of music is one of the most fascinating and rewarding aspects of being an Artist. The various hues, the numerous shades of colors in life bright, dark and everything in between-- is but a macrocosm of what I experience in the world of music in its microcosmic detail. But to fully see and feel the glory of that experience, I had to learn to detach 'me' from the music I make and re-imagine 'me' as nothing more than one who just happens to ignite the spark. The fire called music then burns by itselfAs I get better and better in appreciating this realization, I find it easier to connect onto that fire like spirit just like a wi-fi connection that opens access points to the world beyond something that before that connection was made always existed, but I didn't have the password to. Not only do I now have the password to the connection, I can change the password as often as I want. And the best part is that I can share that password with everyone. That is the most liberating part. Many of us Artists tend to place ourselves in the fore - front of what's created, instead of seeing our role as someone that is actually around that creation someone that can be on the periphery of that creation itself and be more like an arbiter of the musical truth, so to say. Taking this far more interesting vantage point to my own music has afforded me the joy of seeing what that musical experience can do to me as an individual: and to all those who I can see tuning into that spirit collectively and thereby infer the musical truth from that synergetic realization rather than from the tools or processes that were responsible for making the music itself. Finding the oneness in music has always been a singular aspect of my musical journey from the very beginning. It was never about the style of music it was about the experience of music.
