Er war Unteroffizier im k. k. Militärgeographischen Institut in Wien. Im 1. Weltkrieg war er in verschiedenen Garnisonen, besonders im Osten eingesetzt. nach dem 1. Weltkrieg war er im Bundesamt für Eich- und Vermessungswesen als Kartenzeichner beschäftigt. In seiner Aquarelltechnik war sein Vorbild Rudolf von Alt maßgebend. Karl Ginzkey war mit Kirall im Amt beschäftigt und befreundet.…
