El estudio "La pena de prision permanente revisable: Anteproyecto de ley espanol", no obstante, tiene unas cualidades especiales que lo hacen mas que meritorio de estar en las estanterias de criminologos y juristas penalistas, e incluso me atreveria a decir que en las de algun que otro juez y politico espanol. El texto trata una tematica que no solo interesa, sino que preocupa, a toda persona vinculada en mayor o menor medida al ambito juridico. Hace mucho tiempo que se plantea en Espana la posibilidad de introducir en el catalogo de penas de nuestro ordenamiento juridico la prision permanente revisable, pero hasta la fecha no habiamos notado tan duramente la sensacion que dicha reforma pudiera llegar a ocurrir. Por ese motivo se hace absolutamente necesario un estudio riguroso de lo que puede llegar a suponer la implantacion de esta pena; y eso es precisamente lo que hace este trabajo, analizar a traves de metodos cualitativos, con la participacion de expertos en la cuestion, la susodicha pena, para intentar predecir como seria su aplicacion en los juzgados espanoles en caso de aprobarse su creacion.
