CONTENTS DESCRIPTION: Vol. 2 only of the set of 6 volumes where members of the Ohio Commandery of the Loyal Legion preserved their recollections and observations of the Civil War. The various papers form a collection of literature not only interesting but of great historical value. This volume with 18 papers. Very attractive copy of an excellent compilation of interesting and valuable personal narratives. REFERENCES: RYAN 767 describing the series: " They are a comprehensive and important contribution of Ohio military officers to the history of the Rebellion. The wide range of subjects discussed, the variety of reminiscences, and the valuable testimony herein recorded, are shown by the table of contents set forth in each volume."
