Hardcover. Condizione: Near Fine. No Jacket. First Edition. 160 pages (complete). A very smart copy of this VERY RARE book. Half leather. Marbled boards. The boards are tidy, genteel. They have light scuffing and handling marks. The leathered corners have some characterful rubbing and wear from handling and shelving. They are neat, healthy. The spine is very handsome. Stamped gilt decoration and titling to the spine. Five ridges. The spine is most clubbable and healthy. The contents are exceptionally gratifying. Whilst the supplementary free page and last page have tanning about the edges, and the folded engraving at page xxxvii is very worn, the contents are in near immaculate condition. The plates, illustrations, pages are very clean, very clear, fresh, very assured, very confident, tight - as if barely handled or owned. fk.
