Black leather corners. 106 pages. Original decorative front (paper) cover bound in at the front. 100 photogravures, many with tissue guards, printed by Goupil. (Some printed in sepia or blue). Additional illustrations in the text. Binding is tight. Contents are in very good condition. Binding attractive. Leather is still glossy and lettering is crisp. A limited edition of 720 copies. This copy is #152. The winner this year was Jules Lefebvre for painting and Peynot and Boucher for sculpture. Uniformly bound with copies of the Salons of 1883 through 1888 (in my other listings). Measures 9.25 x 12.5 inches. Extra shipping will be required for international or priority shipping, due to its size.
