The author was Professor of Chemistry and Dyeing at the Lowell Textile School. This book was intended to be "introductory to the author's lectures on the subject of Textile Chemistry and Dyeing". The front board has an area of bleaching (possibly from a careless laboratory session?). The spine is darkened such that the title is difficult to read. There is some wear to the extremities. The top and fore edges have a previous owner's name and a date (1936) written on them. The front free endpaper has some pencilled notes. Six pages have some notes inked on them. The binding is square and tight. A nice copy of a very scarce title. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.…
