Einladung zum Beitritt. Kopelew, in Kiew geboren und mit der deutschen Sprache und Kultur schon in jungen Jahren eng verbunden, wurde 1981 als Dissident aus der Sowjetunion ausgebürgert und übersiedelte nach Köln, in die Heimatstadt seines Freundes Heinrich Böll. Im folgenden Jahr gründete er mit Böll die gemeinnützige Gesellschaft "Orient-Occident". Signatur des Verfassers.
