Important comprehensive work on the urinary organs, and male genitalia. This section is devoted to the kidney, for which Fahr was highly respected. Gruber and Lubarsch were pathologists. Stoerk, born in Vienna, trained as a pathologist, worked in bacteriology and histology, was highly regarded, wrote on kidney tumors and the development and structure of the kidney and about diseases of the heart. He contributed a paper on liver regeneration.

Nr. 33, überschickten Sputum waren weder Haematoidinkristalle noch elastische Fasern aufzufinden, auch nicht säurefeste Bazillen. Es fanden sich vorwiegend Staphylokokken neben Gram-negativen Stäbchen, deren Kultur noch fortgeführt wird". - Der an der Universität Wien ausgebildete Oskar Stoerk wirkte ab 1894 als Universitätsassistent und ab 1905 als Prosektor am Karolinen-Kinderspital. 1913 übernahm er die Leitung der Prosektur des Kaiser-Franz-Joseph-Spitals und des 2. Universitätsinstituts für pathologische Histologie und Bakteriologie.
