This English/Australian author is best known for his "Yamboorah" trilogy and other books about horses and Australian "cowboy" country. This one is typical, set on an Australian sheep station and about a young boy who gets involved in some bad things. No illustrations, but a nice jacket by Victor Mays. Published, later the same year, in the U.S. by Harcourt. Minimal bumping, but a near fine copy in a very good, price-clipped dust jacket.
