Aggiungi al carrelloUnbound. Condizione: Good. no date, 1980. Single sheet, 8 ½ by 11 inches. Light blue paper stock. Printed on both sides. A piece calling on women to join a demonstration at the Pentagon on November 16 and 17, 1980, to express "outrage" over defense spending that leaves cities devasted, Black and Latino youth unemployed, etc. The… flier ties the "violence of the Pentagon" to the "violence in women's daily lives." The reverse bears a Unity Statement, that although unattributed, was drafted as a manifesto by author Grace Paley, who gathered input from a variety of women. The event grew out of a Spring 1980 conference "Women and Life on Earth." The event itself incorporated guerrilla theater, rituals and civil disobedience (see Activistswithattitudes website for previous information). GOOD condition. Two horizontal fold creases present. Staple holes at the top left corner. Minor toning and curling/creasing along the corners.
